Access the scanning module

The scanning tool enables scanned documents to be integrated into the patient's electronic medical record, and classified into different codes. This allows all documents relating to the patient's medical follow-up to be recorded in the patient's file.

  • Have the mandate of the person for whom you wish to scan.

Connect to the scanning module

Here is how to connect to the scanning module:

  1. Open the shortcut Omnimed - Classeur on the desktop.
  2. Enter your Omnimed ID and password to connect to the EMR. If necessary, change the application's display language.
  3. Click on Connect.

⚠️Please note! For reasons of security and access logging, generic scannin accounts are no longer permitted.

You must use your own account to log in, i.e. the same login and password you use to access the Omnimed web application.

All users with an Omnimed account can log in to the Scanning Module. No account configuration is required.

    View another user's scanned documents

The directory displayed at login corresponds to your Omnimed login. If required, click on the Directory menu to access documents scanned on the same computer by other users. The user is identified by his or her Omnimed ID only.

    Modify connection institution

When an Omnimed account has access to more than one institution, click on the Establishment menu to modify the connection establishment.

The institution displayed on login will always be the last institution used.

    Log out safely

    Connection time

Each scanning module session automatically expires after 60 minutes of inactivity, to prevent your session from remaining active after you've left your workstation.

It's important to close your session as soon as you've finished using the scanning module, or when you need to leave your workstation unattended. To exit safely, always use the three vertical dots icon in the top right-hand corner, then click on Log out to return to the login window, or on Exit to close the scan module completely.
