Access to advanced settings
To access the advanced settings for the Scanner 2.0 module, click on the three vertical dots in the top right-hand corner and select Advanced settings.
Configuration - General
- Working folder: C:\omnimed\Docs by default.
When a user starts indexing a document, the document is automatically transferred from the Scanning repository folder to the Working folder.
⚙️For centralized use in network mode, select a folder on the network. - Scanning repository folder: C:\omnimed\scan by default.
This is the folder where the system fetches the documents to be transferred in the Local tab of the scanning module. - Fax repository folder: default C:\omnimed\fax.
This is the folder where the system searches for documents to be transferred in the Fax tab of the scanning module. - Models folder: C:\omnimed\model by default.
This is the folder where the system stores templates created on the workstation. - Duration of archives
The default retention period for documents in the Archives is 14 days.
💡 Best practice: process on the same day to avoid storing confidential data on the workstation (security).

- Scanner selection: to add or modify the scanner, click on the selection bar
- Split pages: select whether this feature should be checked by default or not
