You log into Omnimed’s EMR, but you can’t find your patients by file number (they are not in the research results) or you don’t see your tasks or your waiting room?
Usually, the reason is really simple: you are probably not connected to the right institution.
Modify the connection institution
- Click on the News page from the left menu.
- Simply click on the name of the institution in the blue bar at the top right of the application, then select the appropriate institution. Sometimes, the same institution appears more than once; choose the one that will appear in lowercase letters.
Set the default connection institution
It is possible for you to change in which institution you want to be logged in by default in your user profile:
- Log in Omnimed and click on your name in the top right of the application in order to edit your profile.
- Click on Edit profile.
- Choose the right institution in the dropdown list of the Default institution field.
- Save at the bottom of the page.
Connection institution notes
Some caregivers work in many institutions and often, they don’t pay attention to the institution they are connected to in the EMR when they change location.
- As the research by file number works by institution, patients will not show up in the research results if they are not registered in the institution.
- As the waiting room and appointments are also displayed by institution, if the caregiver is not in the right institution, he will not be able to see his waiting room and his tasks.
- Our Report module is 100 % linked to the default institution saved in the profile. If you want to download a report for another insitution, you must log off from Jasper (Report module), change your default institution in your profile and reaccess the Report module.
