🔏Security is a priority at Omnimed, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) is mandatory for all users.
Multi-factor authentication enhances the security of your account and personal information stored in the electronic medical record. This protection is part of the minimum security measures required by Quebec's ministère de la Cybersécurité et du Numérique.
Prior configuration is required to connect with multi-factor authentication (MFA). For more information, see the article Learn more about multi-factor authentication.
⚠️ Validation code authentication remains active for 12 hours per IP address (i.e. on the same Internet network).
This means that you'll be asked for a validation code when you log on for the first time that day, and it's valid for the next 12 hours on the same network. You may therefore have to re-enter a validation code if you're working on another Internet network (e.g. at home in the evening).

Importance of setting up two authentication methods
