Here are the steps to follow to receive your lab results electronically directly into Omnimed's Results module.
⚠️ Important information
- A delay is to be expected between the time you submit your registration request and the time your results are sent to you electronically in the EMR.
- When the interface is activated, some laboratories will continue to send a paper copy of the results until the clinic informs the laboratory that it no longer wishes to receive them.
- This procedure should be followed for all new prescribers joining the clinic.
- For the list of institutions included in each results interface, please contact the interface directly using the contact details shown in this article.
If you are a physician, please follow these steps:
1 - Subscribe to the Système de notification et de distribution électronique (SNDÉ)
2 - Notify your Regional information resources department
3 - Register for electronic reception for private centers
If you are a healthcare professional, please follow steps 1 to 3 and then proceed to step 4 - Additional configuration by Omnimed.
Step 1: Subscribe to the Système de notification et de distribution électronique (SNDÉ)
Complete the form Formulaire d’abonnement au SNDÉ and send it to co-sil.abonnements-SNDE.cissslav@ssss.gouv.qc.ca to subscribe to the SNDÉ.

Step 4: Additional configuration by Omnimed
⚠️ If you are a physician, you do not have to follow this step since your practice number corresponds to your Omnimed username.
If you are a healthcare professional (nurse, physician resident, etc.), your Omnimed account must be configured in our database to ensure the bridge between the laboratory and your Results module.
Some laboratories do not use the practice number to identify the caregiver. If so, Omnimed will need to receive the registration number used by the laboratory to identify you.
The following information must be sent via the form Account modification request:
- Omnimed username
- Name of laboratories for which registration is to be made
- Registration numbers provided by the laboratories in step 1 to 3 (laboratory identifier assigned to you)
